Nicola Malkin is the course tutor at McQueens Flower School. As an internationally respected sculptural ceramicist and floral artist, Nicola has come a long way from her first job as a Saturday girl at a local florist.
Nicola studied ceramics at Camberwell (University of the Arts London) and completed her degree in 2002. Her talent was quickly recognised and she went on to be awarded a coveted two year residency at the University College Falmouth, Cornwall, as part of the Crafts Council's highly respected Next Move Scheme.
Nicola's distinctive talent has now won her international recognition and her work has been exhibited in the V&A London, as well as in galleries in New York and France. In 2006 she joined the McQueens Flower School as course tutor where her passion for fusing sculptural ceramics with cutting-edge floral design is a breathtaking inspiration to her students.
