"A flower arrangement doesn't need to be complicated to astonish, the flowers themselves, in their simplicity, will do it". This is the opinion of Ercole Moroni, creative designer for McQueens, the London florist, known worldwide for his wonderful compositions, such as the ones that decorated Vanity Fair's post-Oscar party in Hollywood. A passion muted into art and business in 1991, when acquiring a prestigious location in London with the challenge of inventing a profession for himself, that of a flower stylist.

Today, the name McQueens is much more than a florist, it's a school, a concept of a life style, where simplicity is the rule of law, where the guidelines are traced by harmony and research. Collaborating with nature to create breath-taking effects, choosing flowers that are in season. "Detail is important in interior design" for a modern loft room I would choose wild flowers, not necessarily the white and essential kind. By the bedside, too, one must always have a flower, because each and every one of us should spoil themselves, create a thrill right from the first hours of the day". An idea for next fall? "Tons of autumn leaves in a transparent vase: easy, economical, sure to impress". Coming to Italy soon.
